A frustrated update from future me: wish i could give this store negative stars. I guess margins must be razor thin because there are never enough cashiers (maybe they’re all overworked unlocking the dozens of locked inventory) and self checkout has been closed indefinitely. I needed 2 items and waited in line for 20 minutes. I would recommend shopping literally anywhere else.

Past review: Shopping experience here has plummeted. So many everyday items are now in locked cages and you have to wait for the employees to unlock. This is always annoying, but now practically everything in the front of the store is under lock and key so you’re sitting around waiting to get several items. What should be a quick target run is now impossible if you want to get deodorant or body wash or lotion or face wash or socks or underwear or hair care products or laundry detergent, the list goes on. I hate capitalism.

Beware!!! Had a visit to this local target and discovered theres anywhere from a $ 2.00 to $ 5.00 difference(depending on the product) in prices at the specific location. After visiting a Torrance target on Sepulveda. I shopped the same items and noticed a significant price difference with the same items.

I’m not sure if this target is purposely making the residence in this area pay the cost of the cage’s they keep everyday common items in or if there catering to the high income tech community that’s now coming into this area.

Whatever it maybe, Target should be ashamed of themselves, they’re a multibillion dollar company and they’re nickel and diming their guest and their employees to shop elsewhere.

This trip was was terrific, I was able to find everything I came to purchase. The staff is great at the LaCienga and Obama Blvd store. This was very clean and orderly.

Well managed location. Parking lot is well lit and spacious. Plenty of cart racks. The shelves are well managed and the store is generally in stock. The grocery side has fresh produce and baked goods. The drawback with this location that is the dependance on self checkout. I refuse to take a price increase on my purchases when I have to ring up the items myself. This location has a large selection of the disney propaganda. Easy entrance and exit with a traffic light.

Target is another example of a hypermarket that sells pretty much everything such as groceries, clothes, electronics and a lot more. This location is within a shopping mall which is great for finding items to wrap during the holidays. Be prepared because it will get busy.

I only go here for convenience but I’m not a fan. A lot of the pharmacy, skincare, and cleaning products are behind plastic cages/cases because they’ve had a theft problem, which I understand but it makes it difficult to shop. They have call buttons to get Target employees to open the cages, but no one comes 70% of the time and the other 30% is a 5-10 minute wait. It’s pretty difficult to find someone to help you with anything. I once asked someone to open a cage for men’s boxers (yes they put those behind cages as well) and no one ever came back. The staff at the register are also not very helpful, such as not being able to do override for price matches or manufacturer coupon; I’ve gone to other Targets whose staff have no problem performing these actions. Sometimes products have different prices at the register than what is displayed. One positive note is that it is a bigger Target, so you’re more likely to find something, but is not as well stocked as the Target Pasadena East location. This Target is more for convenience for people in the Pasadena area, but the customer experience leaves much to be desired, which disappoints me as a stock holder in the company. If you shop here, try to shop through the app and just to pick-up. FYI, I asked them to remove the bag fee once when I did pick up since I brought my bag, the guy said he removed the fee but I didn’t see him do anything; sure enough I was charged for the bag fee when I later checked my credit card statement. Other Targets have not had a problem removing this bag fee when I’ve asked them. I get the vibe that some of the employees at this Target are a bit lazy compared to other locations. They are often too lazy to bring the carts in from the parking garage into the store, so 40% of the time you have to go back outside to find a cart on the first floor

Neighborhood target store selling clothes, electronics, beer and liquor, toys, and many other items. Also has a grocery department with vegetables, fruit, and frozen/fresh food. Target also has a built-in Starbucks and a Pizza Hut.

The lines here can get very long and expect to wait both for purchasing and also at the Starbucks. Other than that, this is a great neighborhood Target with almost everything you could need. Parking is great and the location is in a safe neighborhood and located near major highways and byways.

Store is kept clean and very well stocked. There was plenty of staff around to help with questions. The parking lot was organized without carts everywhere. Overall, this is great and what you can expect from a Target that is well-run (except for the long lines).
